More About Application Specifications
The AMWA develops application specifications (AS) designed for the operational requirements of specific parts of media workflows. Each AS is a constrained version of MXF, and is intended to facilitate interoperation between the components and processes in the workflow. The vendor-neutral specifications include popular codecs and provide support for appropriate metadata.
