FIMS Demonstrations at NAB Show

Plan to attend several demonstrations at the FIMS/AMWA/EBU booth N3134 Monday through Thursday. FIMS, the Framework for Interoperable Media Services, is an initiative sponsored by the AMWA and the EBU.
The FIMS Presentations will help you learn how media processes in a file based workflow can be used more flexibly and how an open architecture allows these to integrate efficiently with business systems. Numerous speakers will be giving nearly 30 FIMS Presentations, four of which will be presented in Japanese. A number of speakers will be showing early implementations of FIMS.
A schedule of the presentation times and speakers can be picked up at the FIMS/AMWA/EBU booth N3134, and at the booths of all AMWA members exhibiting at NAB.
