AMWA has received a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award for the development of AMWA NMOS Discovery, Registration and Connection. The award is shared with Sony Corporation, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), and Streampunk Media Ltd., recognizing their collective contributions to establishing NMOS as an industry-standard control framework for networked media production.

At IBC 2026 the EBU and AMWA will showcase how industry collaboration is delivering real results today while helping shape the next generation of media infrastructure. Whether you're looking for practical solutions you can deploy now, or want to understand where the industry is heading next, these demonstrations offer a unique opportunity to see both in one place.
